Role Playing Rules

1. There is no word count. However, this doesn't mean you can only post ten words. Try for 100 words, but don't worry if you don't make it, just as long as you give the other person something to reply to. For example;
Is your character a klutz?? Have your character trip over their feet.
Does your character speak their mind without thinking. Have them say something funny or embarrassing.
2. Deaths and pregnancies must be approved by an admin. People can't be dying and having babies left and right. In normal towns that doesn't happen.
3. No god modding, plain and simple. If you don't know what god modding is, it's when you control someone else character. Don't do it.
4. Only role play in third person, and past tense.
5. According to Proboard TOS, you must be 13 or older to join and the forum must be kept at a PG-13 rating.
7. So we don't go overboard with the number of threads, instead of making a new thread every time you want to RP, try replying to an RP thread that has no reply yet. This isn't a must, more of a suggestion.
8. Use spell check. The code word is Sorry. It's there for a reason.
9. Please keep the ratios in mind. I wouldn't say you have to have a 2:1 ratio (through that would be nice), just keep the ratios in mind when making a character.
10. If there's ten more characters of one gender, then there will be a ban on that gender. For example, if there's 50 females, but only 38 males, there will be a ban on females until we get at least ten more males.
11. When you start a thread, put "Open" in the title if you don't care who joins that thread. If you do care who joins the thread, put the character(s) name(s) in the title. Like so;

12. Animals can talk to other animals, but can't talk to humans. Depending on how long they been around humans, animals may or may not understand humans.

OCC Rules

1. Don't fight with other members in OOC. Little disagreement are okay, but don't go over board with it.
2. Be active. If you join, post. If you aren't going to post, don't join. It's simple. I will delete inactive accounts after two months, unless you have posted in the departures board.
3. Don't start a million miscellaneous threads about nothing. It's just a waste of time. People join to RP not see random threads. In other words, don't spam.
4. Don't double post. There's a modify button for a reason. Use it.
5. The only place you're allow to advertise is the Advertising Board, no where else. If I hear about you advertising anywhere else, you'll be ban.
6. Sign up with any name you want, through when setting up your profile, change it to first last, in first letter caps and rest lower case. For example: Kari Winters. This makes things all neat and tidy. You can add a middle name if you want, but you don't have to.

Other Rules

1. Multiple characters are allowed, but only one per account. Keep them all active, or they will be deleted.
2. You MUST have an avatar or a signature. Both is fine as well, but at least one is necessary. People like to see who they're RPing with. Make sure there's NO nudity in any pictures.
3. Make an application and wait for it to be accepted before doing anything, RPing, making claims, etc. The ONLY time you can make a claim before making your application is if you're reserving a celeb you wish to RP with.
4. Make your claims BEFORE RPing.
5. Use only real people, no anime. However, there's a ban on certain faces, it includes Zoe Kimball, Lara Jade, and Frieda Rose. The real code word is scream. Read here to find out more.
6. Here's a really great test to see if your character is a Mary-Sue (someone who is prefect).
